We are looking for an energetic and experienced professional for the role of Head of Israel-Canada operation (NOC 10029), for our office in Toronto, Canada to lead our strategic growth into the Israeli market. Individuals with at least 5+ years of strategic management experience in a senior managerial capacity with a strong knowledge of the Israeli technology ecosystem are encouraged to apply.

**Role**: Head of Israel-Canada operation (NOC 10029)

**Location**: 10 Wanless Avenue, Suite 201, Toronto, Ontario, M4N1V6

**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics (advantage cum laude)

**Employment Type**: Full-Time, Permanent

**Languages**: Strong communication skills in English. Knowledge of the Hebrew language is an asset, but not mandatory

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Annual Base Salary of CAD $160,000 with 40 hours a week minimum
- Two (2) weeks of paid vacation

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with companies on strategic development through the North American market on implementing corporate strategy, including direct involvement in planning;
- Executing ongoing market analysis while presenting results to the Company’s CEO;
- Managing day-to-day Israeli small-cap companies under the Plaza group umbrella (portfolio companies); specifically overseeing financing, and business development services;
- Serving in portfolio companies as director as needed;
- Working with the Company’s partners and assisting them in identifying potential Israeli small-cap / early-stage companies suitable for the Company’s portfolio and executing transactions with the Israeli companies;
- Working with internal teams on corporate fund-raising process;
- Executing business transactions from analysis, initiation of conversations, modeling, set valuations and up to working with internal teams of finance and legal until closing.

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- Fluency in the Hebrew language is an asset;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics
- Proven record in executing transactions and working with investee companies
- In-depth knowledge of the Israeli technology ecosystem, with a focus on technology transfer organizations and agro-tech companies. Must have relevant experience in working with agrotech companies and academic/ educational institutions
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a strategic management position
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Business judgement, relationship-building skills, and creativity
- Strong ability to lead and manage projects and multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines
- An innovative thought leader
- Highest degree of integrity, honesty, and commitment to professionalism

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $150,000.00-$160,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
