Optometric Assistant

We are a fast growing multi-doctor practice looking for an Optometric Assistant or Optician to add to our team. We strive to provide the best products and service to our patients

**Jobs duties will include**:
Answering phones
Booking appointments
Pre testing patients (visual fields, fundus photography, OCT, auto refraction, patient history)
Ordering contact lenses
Recalling patients when they are due for their eye exam

Dispensing eyeglasses, frame adjustments

Assisting patients with frame and lens selection.

Contact lens teaches

Be outgoing, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both other staff and patients, be able to work in a fast paced work environment, and be detail orientated.

Remuneration is well above average, includes benefits and vacation.

The position is for 4-5 days per week, including Saturday.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
