Emergency preparedness is a critical aspect of CCH operations. It is essential that all staff and physicians receive training and understand their roles and responsibilities in this field.
**Summary of responsibilities**:
**Requirements of the job**:
- Current registration with the CMRITO
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an MRT
- Completion at minimum, one Leadership skills initiative course
- Completion at minimum, one Quality Assurance course
- Demonstrated leadership, supervisory skills, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, conflict management and organizational skills
- Minimum 1 year experience with direct supervision of radiography students
- Strengths to include working well with all levels of internal management, staff and physicians
- Excellent computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Virtuo, Ris\PACS
- Proficiency in digitized radiography equipment
- Staff scheduling experience
- Scheduling experience to include prioritizing and triaging of requests
- Proven ability to perform daily and monthly quality control procedures specific to Radiology equipment
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to meet physical demands of position including lifting over 60 lbs. and withstand constant standing and/or walking
- Current BCLS Certification and all training defined in LMS for Diagnostic Staff
- Demonstrated regular/punctual attendance
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety

Assets:
- Current registration with the CAMRT
- Functional level in both official languages (oral and written in English; oral in French - and testing completed)
