**For our LAVO division in Montreal, we are looking for a..**:
Assistant Marketing Manager (12-month maternity replacement)

The Assistant Marketing Manager helps lead various product lines for the Fabric Care category and certain Lavo brands belonging to Kik Consumer Products, such as Arctic Power and La Parisienne. The position is based in Montreal in hybrid mode with an office presence, for approximately 2 days a week. The incumbent will support the Senior Marketing Manager with analytical skills, consumer product marketing management and thought leadership. He/she will work closely with the project management team and with functional stakeholders from all areas of the company to ensure day-to-day business operations.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Support the Senior Marketing Manager in implementing strategic category portfolio management that is both relevant to consumers and differentiated from competitors.
- Participate in the profitable growth of its product portfolio to strengthen our leadership in Quebec and support the expansion of our activities in the rest of Canada.
- Participate in the development of the long-term vision for its categories, including product innovation, pricing and marketing.
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the development and execution of marketing plans that will enable the product range to achieve business objectives, such as market share, sales and profits.
- In collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager, be responsible for the performance of the Fabric Care category, with a focus on national brands, while private brands are the direct responsibility of colleagues.
- Help develop the budget and ensure that sales forecasts and profit margins are respected.
- Participate in daily activities related to product range and problem solving.
- Gather market data and trends to identify opportunities in the product portfolio, target issues and support them with recommendations.
- Participate in the preparation of documents to support sales team meetings, whether for new products or to communicate the vision and marketing support.

**Skills**:

- 3 years' experience with increasing responsibility in consumer products marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in business, ideally with a specialization in marketing
