Early Childhood Educator

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young children, families and the community.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (ECE Student OR active plan to enroll in an ECE diploma program)
- Standard First Aid/CPR-C Certificate (an asset, but we can assist)
- Vulnerable Sector Check -within the last 6 months (an asset, but we can assist)
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and initiative
- High standard of professionalism
- Ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with children, co-workers, parents and in the community
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position
- Ability to deliver high quality programming to children

**Requirements**:

- Develop and implement child care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children based on the emerging interests and needs of the children.
- Record daily observations and program plan accordingly
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, safety, and well-being of children

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $17.50-$21.50 per hour

Schedule:

- No weekends
