Mint Tiny House Company are hiring for the position of a Sheet metal worker / Metal cladding installer who also has also some basic carpentry skills. **_Please note; You must be able to install metal cladding in addition to preparing and bending metal. We receive a large number of applicants from metal workers with no installation experience. _** Mint Tiny House Company manufacture Tiny house RV's and Park models at our facility in Tilbury Delta and we ship completed builds all across North America. Due to the fact that all work is carried out indoors, there is no downtime. This is a steady position, all year round. At Mint Tiny House Company we have successfully managed to put together an amazing team which has created a very pleasant work environment. We are looking for an experienced metal worker who has a keen eye for detail. - Installing metal roof panels and siding panels. (36" cladding sheets and snap-lock panels) - Bending flashings - Installing dripcaps, J trims etc. - Installing skylights - Install fascia boards (this is where you need basic carpentry skills) **This is a very unique opportunity working indoors in a workshop facility** A good eye for detail is essential. **Qualifications / Certifications**: - Fall arrest - WHIMIS - Scissors lift ticket - Experience using overhead cranes would be a bonus - A good knowledge of exterior envelope work Benefits package available after 3 months probation period has been successfully completed. **Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: - English not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - No weekends COVID-19 considerations: Regular sanitizing, social distancing, masks recommended Ability to commute/relocate: - Delta, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) **Experience**: - metal installaion: 5 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - fall arrest certificate (preferred) - Aerial platform certificate (preferred)
