Visual Merchandising Manager, Role Accountabilities:

- Manage the Store presentation team to drive customer experience by ensuring effective cross functional partnerships with the buying team and marketing group
- Continuously improve on merchandise training materials and programs with the lens of driving profits to stores and traffic to maximize the customer experience.
- Coordinate details(category adjacencies, etc.) of store layouts that supports the business strategy, financial objectives and brand standards.
- Support various Company Initiatives, as a member of the Cross Functional team. Coordinate & monitor performance of the merchandise components of these projects and initiatives, leading successful tests and rollouts.
- Actively monitor and adjust to market, trends and competition for visual presentation best practices.
- Influences decisions of other business units that impact our store network by maintaining and encouraging open lines of communication and building positive relationships
- Monitors and ensures updates to the GT system and E-learning modules are kept current for Giant Tiger (GT) System Merchandising manuals Softgoods (SG)Hardgoods(HG), Grocery (GR), Merchandising for Impact & Profit (MFI&P)

Visual Merchandising Manager, Key Qualifications
- College Diploma or University degree an asset
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in business or retail environment
- Relevant work experience and knowledge of retail business process
- Proven ability to manage and plan budgets
- Experience in meeting monthly, quartely and annual goals
- Superb collaboration, joint problem solving and influencing skills
- Highly effective relationship management skills with a track record of developing, selling and executing programs collaboratively
- Bilingual (English and French) preferred
