**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Restore and repair damaged surfaces including drywall and woodwork.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Rig and build scaffolding or ladders as necessary for high or difficult-to-reach areas.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, utilizing hand tools effectively.
- Communicate progress and any issues with supervisors or clients promptly.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in residential painting and construction painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to painting projects.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- Experience in carpentry or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential painting: 1 year (preferred)
- Commercial painting: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
