Early Years Educator

Li'l Einsteins Inc. is a Montessori and Learning Centre with children ranging from 0 to 6 years.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the classroom
- Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials
**Experience**:
- Previous experience working with young children in an early childhood setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in computer operation and ability to use computerized systems for record keeping
- Montessori knowledge and training is preferred
- French language is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB T6M 0L9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- ECE: 1 year (required)
**Language**:
- French (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Montessori Certification (preferred)
- Alberta Childcare License (required)
