**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains including cognitive, social-emotional, and physical growth.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Assess children's progress regularly and maintain accurate records of their development.
- Provide guidance and support to children in their daily activities, promoting independence and self-confidence.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Support children with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum requirement is level 2 certification.
- Experience working in childcare or early childhood settings is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus; fluency in French is especially desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
- Proficiency in computer operation for administrative tasks related to lesson planning and record keeping.
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial but not required.
- Need at least two references from previous employers.
