Technical Advisor

**Technical Advisor - Full Time**

As a **Technical Advisor** you will help to uphold PPG’s strong customer service (Advice Center) mission by assisting retail and store customers across Canada with their questions and inquires surrounding PPG’s products (Sico, Dulux, Betonel, etc.).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Utilize your expertise to provide recommendations on the use of our products, colour recipes, etc.
- Handle customer complaints and direct to the right person to provide the best resolution.
- Educate customers and store employees on all PPG products capabilities and attributes.
- Assist customers and store associates with location of product (asking if product is available in local store).
- Collaborate with other PPG departments to achieve the best customer service

**Qualifications**:

- DEC or equivalent is required.
- At least 1 year of applicable experience is required; knowledge within painting or coatings is preferred. Strong Customer service experience will also be considered.
- Must be Bilingual in both French and English, spoken, written and reading.
- Strong professional computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Suite and databases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive responsibilities, work autonomous and be organized with a strong capacity for judgment and analysis.
- Previous experience working with SAP is an asset.
- Must be willing to be a part of a union, as this is a union position.
