Co-op/intern - Talent Management (Fall Semester)

We are currently looking to welcome a co-op/ Intern to Semex talent management team. This student will be given the opportunity to work in several areas of the Talent Management department in order to advance their practical knowledge and talent management skills.

What you will do:

- Create internal and external job postings on ADP, as well as external recruitment sites (Indeed, Workopolis, Universities & Colleges)
- Assist with training course evaluations and attendance records.
- Create content for the Learning Management System (LMS) and contribute to the creation of a learning dashboard and associated metrics.
- Oversee the tracking of learning data, people data and creates reports on key metrics.
- Support efforts around employee engagement, equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), performance management and retention
- Maintains employee data in HR systems.

What you need to succeed:

- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Human Resources related field
- Excellent computer skills and strong attention to detail with limited supervision
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel/Word)
- A strong work ethic and sense of commitment. Personable and reliable
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an asset.

Additional Information:

- Students must have reliable transportation (our location is not on a public transit route)
- Hybrid Remote Work Schedule available (minimum of 3 days in office)
