Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation. **What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will: - consult on, design, deliver and manage issues for a wide variety of funding programs in the agri-food sector - manage concurrent projects to improve funding program delivery processes and tools - provide advice and consultation to applicants and internal project managers with respect to policy and operational guidelines for programs and initiatives - support performance measurement and finance results reporting to internal staff and management, external stakeholders and other levels of government - analyze and advise decision makers regarding complex funding proposals that support rural Ontario communities, agriculture and food businesses - monitor project progress, negotiate and manage client expectations - work closely with other ministry staff and stakeholders to support accountable program design and administration **How do I qualify?**: **Transfer Payment Program Expertise**: - You have knowledge of the design, implementation, operation, monitoring and review of transfer payment programs. - You have knowledge of program governance best practices and policy development processes. - You have knowledge of theories and practices related to agri-food business development. **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: - You have analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate policies, programs, processes or project proposals and develop recommendations to address issues or opportunities or to recommend funding. - You have experience supporting senior management decision making processes. **Business Management Expertise**: - You have knowledge of business management and business process redesign principles, practices and theories such as lean six sigma - You have knowledge of business process redesign initiatives - You have knowledge of risk management principles to provide identification and analysis of issues potentially impacting program management and delivery. **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: - You have interpersonal and networking skills to build and establish effective working relationships. - You have negotiation skills to gain buy-in on Ministry objectives. - You have customer-service skills and political acuity to understand and address underlying needs and motivations and to provide effective management of internal and external stakeholders - You have oral communication and presentation skills to provide information in a clear and concise manner. - You have proven written communications skills to prepare a variety of reports and correspondence. **Organizational and Project Management Skills**: - You have project planning and organizational skills to lead concurrent projects. - You hav
