We are seeking a **Manager, Analytics and Reporting** to join our team. This is a 6-month contract role. As the Manager, Analytics and Reporting you will be responsible for Supporting enrolment management by strategically planning and analyzing enrolment goals. In addition, you will assess requirements, proposes appropriate data builds and maintains visualizations in accordance to best practice and business processes. Reporting to the the Director, Centre for Institutional Data and Enterprise Analytics, you will actively engage in turning raw data into useful information, by developing and maintaining core institutional data sets. You will be responsible for monitoring enrolment numbers, research industry trends, and benchmark student success to report on recruitment and retention practices.

**Data Analytics, Reporting, Quality Metrics and Controls**
- Interprets enrolment trends for other departments and reports on programs, market segmentation, and student demographics acquire data from primary or secondary sources, and build custom datasets to generate reports
- Assist with institutional planning by analysing data, providing forecasts

**Collaboration**
- Participate in internal / external working groups and collaborates with stakeholders to provide information on trends and analytics
- Relay key insights to the director and broader team members
- Assist with identifying opportunities to leverage institutional data to fulfill client needs

**Continuous Improvement**
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create measurement frameworks to track business goals, providing regular updates on progress and recommending adjustments as needed
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics, reporting, and data visualization to drive innovation and excellence in the field
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, collection processes, and reporting methodologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of analytics output

**Team Management**
- Establish department objectives and work plans, delegating assignments to subordinate employees, manages hiring and performance evaluation of personnel
- Manage a team and provide training, timelines, guidance and support and coordinate personnel activities, scheduling, coaching, performance management and support professional development
- Provide constructive input to team members for policies/procedures, policy proposals and strategies to improve operational efficiencies

**Join Our Team**

Do you hold a post-secondary Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or any other related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience, have 5+ years of experience in Analytics & Reporting or relevant area and as a people leader? We seek individuals with a proven track record of experience with corporate planning and have exceptional leadership skills who promote and encourage equity, diversity, and inclusion in all decision-making. Your technical abilities include advanced technical skills in data manipulation and experience with student data systems (Tableau, or other BI tools). Effective proficiency in SQL server administration and data analysis, with an emphasis in T-SQL, SQL query optimization and writing complex stored procedures. Knowledge of data warehousing and data mart concepts is required. Additionally, possessing extraordinary analytical and problem-solving skills, detail orientation, adept diplomatic relationship management, and collaborative abilities, and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
