Commissary Attendant

**Where are we located?**

We are located at 420 Vansickle Road in St. Catharine’s, Ontario

**Who is Kitchen Fresh?**

We are a commissary kitchen that produces Ready to Eat and Warm to Eat foods for Walmart customers. Our products are produced on site (by people like you) and sold inside Walmart stores in their refrigerated section. We sell a variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and meal kits.

**What does the job entail?**
- Maintaining the display case by rotating products, removing expired items, wiping all surfaces when needed, communicating to the Commissary Cook to produce more items for sale
- Provide good customer service and answer questions about the food items for sale
- Uphold Food Safety, Employment Rights, and Branded expectations
- Maintain daily records with respect to temperatures of equipment and food

**What will I learn?**
- How to safely handle food for consumption
- Build customer service communication skills

**What do we need from you?**
- Kitchen experience is an asset
- Customer service experience is an asset
- A desire to work in the Foodservice or Hospitality industry

Kitchen Fresh is actively looking for responsible individuals that can work with the Commissary Cook to ensure the display case is full of products and the area is kept clean. Some sandwich assembly may be required.
