The Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for control of all shop floor activity, including the detailed planning and scheduling of work orders, ensuring required materials are available upon order release, tracking work orders to ensure timely completion, and managing hardware and stock items to allow the shop floor to consistently execute to plan. Participates in ongoing training opportunities to promote continuous quality improvement and a lean manufacturing environment. Expected to identify and implement opportunities for improvement and efficiency in planning, scheduling and inventory practices.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Plan, develop and manage weekly/monthly production schedules for Manufacturing, Assembly and Shipping to meet customer demand and best utilize productive capacity.
- Plan and track daily manufacturing workload, provide feedback to engineering on manufacturing hours, and provide regular reporting on manufacturing status.
- Ensure that standard run-times and product flow per operation and/or SKU are realistic, accurate and harmonious to Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Create, optimize and balance the production schedule to ensure a consistent and efficient flow of product in support of operational and financial goals.
- Respond to changes in supply/demand alignment by adjusting production plans, communicating plans and significant plan changes to leadership, product specialists, manufacturing leads and supply chain personnel.
- Maintains lines of communication to learn of necessary changes to supply/demand detail and to respond effectively to completion impediments.
- Assure data integrity by working with the supply chain and engineering teams to develop and maintain a consistent item master and BOM structure within ERP systems.
- Schedule work flow to assure meeting inventory objectives in-regards-to order quantities, lead-times, and Min-Max stocking levels, in order to maximize inventory turns while satisfying customer requirements.
- Ensure excess materials and scrap are disposed of properly.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production Leadership to develop effective stock/material transfer and replenishment systems to support Lean Manufacturing methods.
- Identify challenges and help improve processes.
- Provide quick responses to production issues.
- Ensure Company/Customer promised to ship dates are always met.

**Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications**
- Self-Motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough. A versatile, self-starter with a positive attitude, who is assertive.
- Effective oral and written communication skills are essential, as are interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge and experience with production scheduling. Using MRP/ERP systems.
- Intermediate/expert level excel and data analysis skills, pivot tables, BI and reporting.

**Education and Experience**
- 2 to 5 years of related experience and proven performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- APICS Certification preferred.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing Scheduling: 3 years (preferred)
