**Description Overview**
Activate Games is one of Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facilities and we are looking to expand our build team. The position of Production Assembler involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a commitment to growth through rapid prototyping. A successful applicant will be expected to autonomously complete production tasks from part picking to completing assemblies. The individual that fills this role will additionally be responsible for the construction and packing of pallets following quality control checks. Due to a constantly changing production cycle, training will be provided as new tasks are available to learn. This is a full-time position and you will be reporting to the manufacturing manager. Travel as part of our Activate Installation Team is also an available opportunity, based on skills and expectations.
**Summary of Duties and Responsibilities**
- Fabrication & Assembly_
- Use various hand and power tools to complete game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides;
- Update component assembly guides as changes occur;
- Prepare small-batch wiring harness orders for concept prototyping;
- Provide support during quality control testing when needed;
- Provide support during local prototype installations when needed;
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization;
- Maintain workspace inventory levels based on weekly checks;
- Other tasks and duties as assigned;
- Electronics_
- Provide additional help with through-hole soldering when backlogs build;
- Assist with the testing and packaging of PCB assemblies as needed;
- Assist pick and place machine operators as needed;
- 3D Printing_
- Clear print beds and restart print runs as needed;
- Shipping & Receiving_
- Receive and sort all incoming deliveries;
- Pick parts for maintenance orders;
- Package and label finished products based on packaging standards;
- Construct custom pallets based on game room orders;
- Maintain and update shipping documentation as pallets are completed;
- Direct the loading and organization of finished game room pallets into transport trailers;
**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 3-years of experience in an assembly production setting is required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required
- Access to reliable transportation is required
- Experience with power tools is required
