**What this role is all about**:
Reporting to the VP, People, the Principal HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, driving the development and execution of People & Culture (P&C) strategies that support organizational growth and effectiveness. This senior-level role oversees enterprise-wide initiatives, including change management, workforce planning, and cultural transformation, ensuring HR programs and practices align with business priorities and create a high-performance environment.
**What you’ll do**:
**Executive Partnering & Organizational Strategy**
- Collaborate directly with the executive team to align P&C strategies with organizational goals and priorities.
- Provide strategic counsel on talent management, organizational design, leadership alignment, and succession planning.
- Drive initiatives to enhance workforce effectiveness and achieve operational excellence.
**Enterprise Change Leadership**
- Lead large-scale organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and execute frameworks for change readiness, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and integration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions.
**Strategic Workforce Planning & Talent Optimization**
- Oversee workforce planning to align talent strategies with future business needs.
- Identify and address skill gaps through targeted development and hiring strategies.
- Lead the design and implementation of performance management systems to drive accountability and results.
**Leadership Development & Culture Transformation**
- Build leadership capability through targeted development programs and coaching.
- Act as a champion for organizational culture, aligning people strategies with values and business goals.
- Advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to strengthen the talent pipeline and employee engagement.
**HR Governance & Risk Mitigation**
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, mitigating organizational risks.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage sensitive issues effectively.
**Oversight of P&C Projects & Deliverables**
- Drive high-impact HR projects with the centres of excellence, such as compensation harmonization and organizational redesigns.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and measure outcomes.
- Lead the execution of the People & Culture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
**What you'll bring**:
- Masters/Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
- Applicable post-secondary certifications (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) preferred
- Experience: 8-10+ years of progressive P&C leadership experience, with significant exposure to executive-level partnerships.
- Proven expertise in leading large-scale P&C initiatives, organizational design, and leadership development.
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence C-suite leaders.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach.
- Strong project management capabilities, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale initiatives on time and within scope.
- Deep understanding of employment laws and global P&C compliance requirements.
- Demonstrates excellent understanding of business principles and practices. Has an excellent understanding of the market and a detailed knowledge of the competitive environment.
- Critically evaluates, questions and challenges status quo in order to stimulate creativity and continuous improvement
- Able to accomplish goals through the development and maintenance of relationships and the trust of business partners and co-workers.
**What you’ll gain**:
- The salary range for this position is $115,000 - 129,000
