We invite you to be part of our evolution. **Our Team**: Creighton Mine is an underground nickel, copper, and PGE mine located in Lively, Ontario, and is home to over 400 full-time employees, as well as the world-class science facility SNOLAB. Producing at depths of over 8400 feet, we are one of the deepest nickel mines in the world. **The Opportunity**: We are currently seeking a **Mobile Planner** to join our **(All Mines Development) **at** Creighton Mine** in **Sudbury, Ontario**. This is a **permanent** position. As a **Mobile Planner**, you will be helping to facilitate the continuous improvement of the Mechanical Maintenance team’s performance, through the effective use of established processes and procedures. You will be accountable for the planning of work for the Creighton Mine Maintenance Department and may be required to provide relief supervision as needed. Additionally, in this position you will: - Work Monday to Friday, 8 hours day shift. - Coordinate and facilitate with the Scheduler to ensure all required planning/scheduling routines are followed. - Identify and escalate all critical issues that threaten the successful execution of the "work schedule" for completion by Required End Date. - Manage backlog to ensure work orders are planned with an emphasis on safety and ready to be executed prior to the required end date as determined through the notification. Ensure WO user statuses are properly maintained throughout the lifecycle of the work order.
