We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. As a Cabinet Maker at APJ CONSTRUCTION, you will be responsible for crafting custom cabinets, booths, walls, and other woodworking projects according to client specifications. Your role will involve operating CNC machines, table saws, and edge banding equipment, as well as designing and installing cabinetry solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, sketches, and design specifications to create high-quality cabinets and woodworking projects.
- Operate CNC machines to cut and shape materials with precision.
- Use table saws, edge banding machines, and other woodworking tools to fabricate and finish components.
- Design and construct custom booths, walls, and other specialized woodworking projects.
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and functional cabinetry solutions.
- Install cabinets and other woodworking elements at client locations, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role, with expertise in CNC operation, design, booth construction, walls design, table saw operation, edge banding, and installation.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in woodworking craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to woodworking challenges.
- Knowledge of different wood types, materials, and finishing techniques.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $20.00-$25.19 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L6T 4Z6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
