At Shelter Ridge, no two days are the same. One day you may be assisting with backframing or light finish carpentry, and the next, operating small equipment or coordinating material pickups. **Key Responsibilities**

Your daily work may involve:

- Picking up and delivering building materials.
- Assisting with backframing, prep work, and general carpentry tasks.
- Jobsite cleanup and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Operating small equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, and mini excavators.
- Supporting project managers and foreman across all phases of construction.
- Performing light finish carpentry (trim, doors, minor installs).
- Assisting in both residential and commercial builds.

**Qualifications**
- **3-5 years of general construction or carpentry experience** (required).
- Solid understanding of general construction practices and safety requirements.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and small equipment.
- Ability to take direction, but also work independently.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation (required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
- Experience reading construction plans and blueprints.
- Additional assets (not required but considered an advantage):_
- Carpentry apprenticeship or certification.
- First Aid or other safety certifications.

**Compensation & Benefits**
- **Hourly wage: $25-$35**, based on experience.
