Our vision for growth and success is a powerful one, to combine fresh ideas with the industry’s greatest talent - **_Great_** People**_, Great_** Service**_, Great_** Results** **Job Description**: One of our divisions - **Chartwells, **is** **currently seeking to hire highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Food Service Team at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario. **Position - Tim Hortons Associate (FULL-TIME AVAILABILITY A MUST)** **Shift / Hours - Monday to Friday - Variable Between 7:00AM and 7:00PM** **Location: Durham College - 2000 Simcoe Street North Oshawa, ON L1G 0C5** **What you need to do** - Maintain a clean and neat appearance. - Undergo job specific and company safety training. - Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures. - Oversees stocking of all food serving areas according to the number of persons to be served, with a focus on quality, appearance, adequate stocking of showcase, fridge and hot drink station at all times. - Operates food service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures and brand standard. - Maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste. - Cleans and sanitizes work area and equipment. - Maintains and participates in required logs and recordings of food service information as required by the brand standard - Cleans (deep) all equipment at end of week to ensure proper cleaning as per brand standard - Communicates with management team and other staff members to resolve problems and/or concerns - Ensures that all prepared products are correctly recorded on production sheet and transferred to from kitchen to kiosk safely. - Keep the area clean at all times to keep and maintain high customer service standards - Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established for the job. - Represents company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions. - Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment. - Ability to interact with customers in order to ensure customer satisfaction - Ensures good order and maintenance of all equipment by immediately reporting any deficiencies to maintenance. - Perform all duties in the safest possible manner and report all incidents and health and safety concerns to the supervisor or manager. - Follow and document temperatures/cleaning and daily checklists - Follow opening, closing and cleaning checklists. - Ensures proper brand specific uniform is worn at all times - Assist in any other duties as required. **Qualifications**: - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - An interest working in a quick service environment - Guest service oriented and cash handling experience is an asset - Ability to learn Tim Horton’s brand standard - Ability to work under pressure, produce results, handle numerous tasks at once - Ability to bend ,lift and push up to 35 lb - Able to work independently with mínimal direct supervision - Availability to work flexible hours - Legally eligible to work in Canada - **Positive with a "can do" attitude** Additional Information Thank you for your interest in a career with Compass Group Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
