**Position Overview**
ACSI is seeking experienced **Crane Operator Journeypersons**who will be integral to our project’s success. Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Crane Operator is responsible for safety and efficiently operating a mobile crane to life and move heavy materials at our Mod Yard.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operators manupulate many pedals and levers to rotate the crane and raise and lower its boom and one or more load line.
- May drive the crane to the job site, rig the machine up (pin the boom and pendant cables and pull the hoist cable in preparation for operation).
- Set up the machine for the lift (i.e., make it level and stable) using blocking and leveling materials.
- Journeyperson may mentor apprentices respectfully and oversee their safety.
**Requirements and Experience**

- **Mobile Elevated Work Platform**:
- **Fall Protection**:
- Experience as a Crane Operator in an industrial construction environment.
- Proven ability to operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
- Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.

**Rate: $49.00 per hour**
**Overtime**:Per collective agreement
**Schedule**:14/7
**Camp**:Yes
**Allowances**:Per pre job, Travel allowance based on proof of residence.
