**The Opportunity**

Muskoka Cabinet Company is seeking a Shipper & Receiver to join our team. This role is crucial to the company's operation as it involves being responsible for maintaining the Muskoka Factory grounds, receiving orders, and inspecting/verifying all orders that leave the factory.

**The Role**
- Hourly Rate: $18 to $22 / hour (depending on experience).
- Paid sick days.
- Profit sharing program.
- Full health benefit program.
- Full Time in person work on site in Alfred, ON.
- On-site training for this position.
- Start date - ASAP.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Skillfully handle packing and unpacking of materials.
- Proficiently operate forklifts for the transportation and shipping of materials.
- Thoroughly check, inspect, and verify the accuracy of all shipments.
- Accurately label and categorize both incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Efficiently relocate items within the factory premises.
- Monitor and maintain meticulous records of incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Carefully handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials whenever necessary.
- Keep the yard clean and clear all entrance of buildings in the Winter.

Individuals with the following traits, skills and experiences should apply:

- Able to deal effectively with production.
- Experience with woodworking equipment would be desirable but not essential.
- Great communication skills; written and verbal.
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a team environment & individually.
- English speaking, reading, and writing is mandatory.
- Valid full class G Driver’s License with clean abstract.

**Employee Assets**
- 3 or more years of experience in shipping/ receiving, preferably in manufacturing.
- Forklift License
- Bilingual in English & French.
