Arnts The Landscape Supplier Inc. has been providing Durham Region and the GTA with quality landscape supplies for over 50 years. We are looking for hard-working, energetic and friendly individuals to join our team. This position primarily involves working in a fast-paced environment assisting customers to obtain the best landscape supplies for their dream backyard.

**GREAT HOURS - NO LATE EVENINGS - CLOSED SUNDAYS - TRAINING PROVIDED**

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate the POS system for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Support team members with various tasks to ensure smooth store operations

**Skills**
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Ability to perform basic math equations accurately for determining material amounts and cash handling and transactions
- Strong organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks effectively
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales procedures
- Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience
