As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Project Manager to join our team in this new opportunity. This role will be based in Vancouver, BC.

**Job Overview**:
The Project manager is accountable for the success of all projects under their supervision. Project manager plans, executes, and delivers all projects on time, on budget, and within scope in accordance with business priorities. Throughout the lifecycle of each project, the manager tracks project status and manages project teams to mitigate issues and risks.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Lead and/or participate in business process redesign teams
- Define and create project plans for project, portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation
- Manage the successful cross functional delivery of technology projects and technology roadmap strategy and initiatives
- Work with key stakeholders and cross-functional team members to outline project success criteria based on the goals and measurements of the project
- Outline a detailed project objective, scope, and plan
- Monitor and assess project progress using appropriate tools and techniques, and effectively communicate these updates to internal and external project stakeholders
- Maintain a high level of communication of project progress with key stakeholders and the technology team
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decision making; strong focus on strategic areas to drive optimization
- Establish, manage, and maintain effective vendor relationships
- Run and monitor projects on a day-to-day basis, maintaining comprehensive project documentation
- Run project meetings with the cross-functional project teams for updates and status changes
- Efficiently and effectively manage problems and issues around scope creep and/or changes in business requirements to ensure the project stays on task
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle
- Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and business value
- Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria
- Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles
- Facilitate all checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects
- Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered
- Continually update relevant business stakeholder of project status
- Ensure all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets stated in business case
- Develop new processes as necessary to ensure mission critical systems are completed
- Provide expertise in identifying appropriate methodologies for large-scale efforts

**Education, Credentials, Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or other relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a business analyst, project management, or information technology role in a complex business and systems environment. Experience with technical alternatives and basic knowledge of emerging technologies.
- Proven track record leading large, successful projects.

**_ Technical Skills:_**
- Proficient with the Project and Portfolio Management Tools (Visio, MS Project, etc.)
- PMI certification or equivalent preferred
- In depth understanding of project management concepts
