**Acara Solutions is looking for Mechanical Assembler with hands-on experience in manufacturing.**

Full-Time permanent position in Etobicoke, ON for morning or afternoon shifts.

**Salary**: $22.15/hr 40 hours a week paid weekly

Shift: 4pm-2am Monday - Thursday. *Long weekend every weekend*

Location: Etobicoke (Kippling and Dixon area)

**Responsibilities**
- Assemble custom parts according to established written work instructions and schematics
- Read and interpret assembly drawings
- Follow set instructions, job orders, recording information
- Performing quality checks using tools and gauges and completing checklists
- Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles by checking the quality of work prior to handing unit off to the next process
- Work in a safe environment, keeping self and workstation free from hazards

**Qualifications**
- Experience in mechanical assembly of sheet metal products or medium to high voltage products
- Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience in reading wiring schematics/diagrams and mechanical blueprints and troubleshooting wiring and mechanical issues
- Able to visualize and plan the assembly of a product based on wiring schematics and mechanical blueprints
- Knowledge of proper wiring techniques (stripping, terminating, crimping)
- Able to safely operate hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent problem-solving skills and good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

**Salary**: From $22.15 per hour

Schedule:
