Pacific Ropes is a leading provider of rope access, safety, and technical services across Canada. We are currently recruiting **IRATA-certified Rope Access Insulators** for upcoming industrial projects in **Edmonton, AB**. Join our experienced team of professionals who value safety, precision, and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform insulation work on piping, vessels, tanks, and ducts using approved materials and techniques.
- Access and work at height using rope access systems in accordance with IRATA standards.
- Follow site safety procedures, conduct hazard assessments, and participate in safety meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records for equipment and tasks completed.
- Support additional duties as assigned by site supervisors or rope access team leads.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid **IRATA Level 1 or 2 certification**:
- Previous experience as an insulator (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills
- **Assets**: GWO, CSTS 2020, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, WHMIS, or First Aid certifications

**Working Conditions**
- Work both indoors and outdoors in a live operating refinery, upgrader and chemical plant
- CSA approved steel-toed safety boots will be required
- Drive every day to site (no camp available), potential for ride-sharing and carpools
- Mon - Thurs 10 hour days, with opportunity of extended hours into shutdowns
- Work as part of a cohesive team of technicians towards a common goal
- Able to attend and pass site-specific orientation and training as required
