**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and Lead the animation team to achieve high quality 2D animation that leans into horror and realism.
- Extensive proficiency in Harmony software with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. Proven experience supervising on an animation series production.
- Collaborate with the director, producers and animation teams to understand the creative vision, style requirements and animation benchmarks.
- Oversee the entire animation process, from set-up through to final animation, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient production pipelines.
- Conduct regular animation reviews and provide constructive feedback to artists, encouraging their growth and development while maintaining the overall quality of the animation.
- Adhere to the production guidelines regarding file types and sizes.

**Key Requirements**
- 7+ years proven experience as an Animation Lead or Supervisor, preferably with experience in overseeing a rigged animation pipeline.
- Familiarity with node view and rig controls within Toon Boom Harmony software.
- Expertise in animation principles, including timing, spacing, weight, posing, and acting, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality animation work. (Proven experience on a show with a high level of realism is an asset.)
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment, fostering a positive and creative work atmosphere.
- A great attitude and work ethic. Able to work & communicate efficiently in a motivated milestone-driven, team environment.
