Based in Dieppe, New Brunswick, the Data Analyst (Environment, Health & Safety) will contribute to our mission of "Everyone Goes Home Safe" by leveraging the strength of the existing health and safety management system consistently across multiple divisions. - Effective, efficient and consistent utilization of the Safety Operating System (Intelex), and the Learning Management System (HCM), as well as supporting systems such as Tableau and other platforms. - Ensure the successful adoption of technology and provide expert level support in the business to drive consistent outcomes in safety. - Integrate data into visual analytical dashboards that identify trends, prepare reports, presentations, to communicate safety data and insights to stakeholders. - Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting safety data to identify trends, improve safety programs, provide insight and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Analyzing incident reports, conducting trend analyses, and using data to inform safety initiatives. - Lead and assist in the completion of safety improvements and projects. - Developing and maintaining databases for safety data, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. - Supporting the implementation of safety management systems and provide training when needed. - Contributing to the development and improvement of safety procedures. - Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Knowledge of new technologies, trends, and best practices in the industry. - A University degree in Business, Sciences, or Engineering - with a concentration in mathematics and statistics preferred - Minimum 3 years' of analytical related experience - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Strong communication and presentation skills - Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment - Project and initiative leadership skills - Experience with analysis and reporting software systems required and EHS and business analysis IT systems preferred; specific familiarity with Intelex, Alteryx, Enhesa and Tableau are most desired. Advanced skills in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint platforms for data visualization and analysis required. Founded in 1882, J.D.
