**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Carrier Negotiations**: Secure competitive rates to drive profitability and cost savings.
- **Shipment Coordination**: Schedule and manage truck shipments, resolving transit issues as they arise.
- **Invoice Management**: Audit and correct carrier freight invoices and BOLs for accurate and timely payments.
- **Driver Dispatch**: Assign loads and ensure drivers arrive on time without issues.
- **Carrier Network Development**: Build a reliable carrier program to support sales growth and operational efficiency.
- **Daily Sourcing**: Conduct 60-80 calls per day to source carriers, negotiate rates, and select the best transportation partners.
- **Carrier Relationships**: Develop and maintain relationships with core carriers.
- **Database Management**: Keep carrier profiles, pricing, and contact information current in the TMS system.
- **Operational Efficiency**: Utilize TMS, **Loadlink**, and internal tools to streamline capacity planning and workflow.

**What My Client is Looking For**:

- **Experience**: At least 1 year in transportation or logistics.
- **Loadlink Proficiency**: Strong experience using **Loadlink** for carrier sourcing and rate management.
- **Sales-Driven Mindset**: A self-starter with a passion for logistics and a focus on results.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- **Communication**: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
