**Job summary**
Exadata Engineer/Architect who can build infrastructure from the scratch and provision necessary resources maintaining standard.
1.Exadata Software implementation, maintenance and support.
2.Installs, upgrades and patches Exadata Engineered systems and relational database management systems (RDBMS), monitoring software, and layered products.
3.Provides ongoing support/ troubleshooting and problem resolution for any software issues, vulnerabilities.
4.Working knowledge on exadata storage software and servers.
5.Provides ongoing support for troubleshooting infrastructure issues and for required maintenance / replacement for any infrastructure components.
6.Oracle Enterprise manager knowledge for monitoring the different components.
7.Exadata Capacity and Performance Management.
8.Managing the servers through ILOMs.
9.Regular DBA Activities.
10.Contribute to the development of policies, standards and procedures.
11.Experience on working with Linux or Solaris operating systems softwares.
12.Experience with Data Guard and GRID.
13.Experience in Unix scripting and working with operating systems.
14.Perform database performance tuning(indexing and optimizer strategies, stored procedures/triggers, partitioning, commit levels, rollbacks, locking schemes, temporary spaces/sort areas, and memory management)
15.Respond to problems quickly and document corrective actions. 16.Strong knowledge on managing clusterware software and databases.
17.Working knowledge on exadata IB switches and other networks concepts.
18.Participate in on-call / Escalation till closure.
19.Should have strong database migration knowledge.
20.Excellent oral/written communication.
