Arena Maintenance Manager

**Job Summary**:
In this role you are responsible for the overall management of the facility which includes two ice pads (110' x 50' and 40' x 20').

Job duties include flooding both of our ice surfaces, general ice maintenance, daily cleaning, minor building repairs and maintaining all equipment along with scheduling and managing part-time maintenance staff. You will also be responsible for dealing with emergency situations that arise.

**Required Qualifications**:

- High School or College Diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an arena or sports facility.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience driving a Zamboni/Olympia.
- Experience using an edger and maintaining ice required.
- Experience dealing with sand floor rinks an asset.
- Basic refrigeration experience required.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a cold environment for periods of time up to 2-3 hours.
- First-Aid/CPR-C required.
- Vulnerable Sector check required.

**Hours & Schedule: (Minimum 40 hours per week)**
- Schedule would be Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
- Weekday shifts start at 2pm or 3pm
- Weekend shift may be morning or afternoon start
- Start times and closing times can vary, applicant must be flexible

**Salary**: $55,000 - $65,000 (Salary will be based on overall skills and experience)

**2-Weeks paid vacation included. No extended vacation may be taken during July or August.**

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
