Human Resources Business Partner

**Requirements**:
**_ Responsibilities & Requirements _**
- Provide professional HR advice to line managers, considering best practices and trends, and ensuring that HR management decisions and practices meet legislation as well as company rules and values
- Ensure the effective provision of all HR administrative tasks relating to the full employee life cycle
- Conduct investigations, assist managers in managing conflict, poor performance and other issues
- Answer complex questions related to human resources management
- Create, implement, interpret, and administer company policies/procedures to ensure the highest level of compliance and integrity
- Establish mechanisms for reporting on employee engagement and execute performance management of staff
- Ensure the delivery of an effective performance review process
- Oversee our substantial recruiting efforts within North America and align them with our current and future company goals
- Develop, update, and implement new hiring, reporting, and management policies as required
- Manage the staffing process and revise and review job postings for casual staff
- Conduct the coordination and implementation of all terminations, career transitions, etc.
- Conduct exit interviews and prepare quarterly summary of exit interview results for distribution and action.
- Manage payroll systems (Wagepoint), scheduling systems (Deputy), and all employee record keeping and archiving
**_Qualifications_**
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Human Resources (ex. HR Business Partner, HR Director, HR Manager, etc.)
- Bilingualism (English & French), both written and spoken
- University or college degree in Human Relations or related field
- Ability to evolve in a multi-site global organization and in a constantly changing environment
- Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills with all levels of management and employees
- Strong organizational development skills in a transformational environment
- Expert knowledge of all areas of human resources including performance management and employee relations, equality and diversity issues, change management, compensation, organizational development, and talent management.
- Knowledge of Google Suite
- Must be able to work from Nuovo’s HQ, located in the Old Port of Montreal - this job is _NOT_ available as a hybrid/work-from-home position
