As part of the BFG/DeCloet Team, we have an opening for a Maintenance Technician working at our Simcoe, ON location.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Under general supervision, maintain all manufacturing equipment, perform reparation and daily support of all processes. Lead in-depth troubleshooting with technicians and operators. Be the liaison with engineering and other teams ensuring all compliance with company safety and standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Maintain machinery at metal fabrication shop in operating order
- Assemble, inspect, install, and test new pieces of equipment to ensure proficiency
- Set up and perform regular preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Perform emergency repairs
- Maintain and sharpen unitized tooling and drill bits.
- Complete maintenance work orders
- Other duties as assigned

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of High School diploma
- Previous mechanical experience, mechanically inclined
- Strong working knowledge of how fabricating machinery works (shears, brake presses, saws, welding equipment, punch presses, drill presses, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Familiar with measuring tools
- Current/Valid “G” license required
