**You will help to complete the project lifecycle**
- Conduct a route or site walk to collect data of all surface features and underground utility data necessary to support the preparation of the construction drawings that are complete and suitable for submition to local jurisdictions to obtain a construction permit
- Develop and define the optimum route and identify the type of construction required (i.e. aerial, underground, open trench, direction bore, plough, etc.)
- Prepare preliminary and detailed designs, drawings, and specifications to customer requirements of outside plan network facilities.
- Design coordination with clients, municipal authorities, utilities & various project stakeholders.
- Preparation and submission of project approvals, including customer, municipal permits, crossing or proximity agreements, Transportation, and joint use approvals.
- Clearly communicate with clients and project stakeholders to identify project risks and expectations.
- Must have knowledge of **Copper and Fiber outside plant infrastructure**
- Occasional off-site meetings, site visits and field inspections (May required).

**Required skills to qualify**

**Good-to-haves**

Working knowledge of **TELUS communication network is a must**

Working experience in software such as Cablecalc, AutoCAD, SpatialNET, and Microstation

Experience in AC/DC power is an assest

Understanding of easements and right-of-way

Knowledge of municipal permits, shallow and deep utility clearances

Knowledge of health & environmental safety requirements on the site under construction

**Salary**: TBD

License: Class 5 is an asset

Status in Canada: Canadian Citizen or valid work permit

**Salary**: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
