**Operational Excellence Engineer Team Leader**

The Operational Excellence Team Leader will lead and mentor a team of Operational Excellence Engineer(s) that will initiate and drive execution on projects related to standardizing best practices, continually reducing costs and increasing overall efficiencies; all within a fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for providing leadership in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to help eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies with a focus on Maintenance and Reliability
- Responsible for mentoring and coaching a team of Operational Excellence Engineers and Co-ops
- Lead Maintenance & Reliability Fundamentals deployment at multiple factories around the GTA and work with your team to develop the next phase of the project
- Create an environment which fosters a continuous improvement culture across all facilities including innovation and integration of all new relevant technologies
- Work closely with all departments and levels of management, including leading by example during site projects with on-the-floor support

**Required Ingredients**:

- 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing (maintenance experience is highly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Systems, Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, SAP)
- Collaborative/mentoring management style
- Data Analysis
- Able to provide expertise and knowledge across the organization
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple Operational Excellence projects
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Flexible to work various work schedules as needed
- The ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions
- Strong analytical skills both, written and verbal (English)
- Resourceful with a sense of urgency in providing solutions
- Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle
