You will develop and underwrite profitable business within a specific area working within a team to provide outstanding, high-quality, profitable service to customers.

You will identify and recommend improvements to policy, process or service and support the implementation of changes.

What you’ll do:
- Manage the portfolios and relationships of select key broker partners.- Coach and counsel front-line team members in the areas of complex underwriting, pricing, and broker experience, ensuring alignment to our business objectives.- Work in partnership with front-line managers on the implementation of underwriting changes and workflows.- Actively consult on new business opportunities focused only on the largest High Net Worth accounts in Canada.- Work directly as support for the management of the largest accounts in Ovation/RBC HNW- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, obtaining market intelligence, keeping abreast of changes in the industry, and supporting profitable growth of the business.- Exhibit a high degree of integrity when representing Ovation to our Broker Partners, working with team members and Ovation leaders, and with key stakeholders at Aviva Canada Inc.- Maintain a high level of accuracy and product knowledge as required in a crossline, cross-brand team.- Help to maximize efficiencies through simplifying business practices.- Continuously work to identify areas of concern using internal data, trends, and industry developments

What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of high value property insurance experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a high net worth underwriting environment.- CIP, FCIP, CRM designation either completed or in progress.- Ability to interact in a professional manner to develop meaningful relationships with broker partners and internal stakeholders.- Ability to listen to broker and customer needs to effectively and efficiently meet them.- Outstanding interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.- Strong and effective analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills- Superior time management, a pro-active mindset, and demonstrated productivity in a hybrid environment.
