**Position: Security System Technician**
**Team(s): Projects & Service**

**Description**

As a Security System Technician at SuRe InnoVations, you will install, commission, and test alarm, camera, access and automation solutions for new and existing projects, as well as perform troubleshooting and repair to solve service cases.

You will work with high quality products, carefully selected and designed as part of professionally planned projects. We don't do the cookie cutter stuff, and we definitely do not play the high pressure sales (ie. door to door) game.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Install, Commission and Test alarm, camera, access and automation solutions.
- Visit client’s homes and businesses to troubleshoot and repair systems
- Analyze and configure WIFI networks and home automation devices
- Be courteous, clean and professional at all times
- Manage your workload and tasks via a cloud-based case management system
- Identify opportunities for simple system improvements that will present value to our clients
- Offer and deliver expedited solutions to deliver that value (often on the same visit)

**Prerequisite Skills and Qualifications**
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- General computer skills
- Excellent troubleshooting, logic, and reasoning skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines
- Strong attention to detail

**Prerequisite Education and Experience**
- Grade 12 diploma
- Service and/or technology experience is preferred
- On the job training will be provided

**Additional Details**
- Pay range is $42,000 to $75,000, based on experience and value created
- Benefits offered after 3 months of employment
- Hours are Monday to Friday, 8-4:30. Some overtime required
- Maintain valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract
- Provide acceptable criminal record check
- Provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
