**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a bus on designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers during transit.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus interior.
- Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition; report any mechanical issues as needed.
- Provide educational information about local landmarks and points of interest during transit.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including daily logs and incident reports.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities (especially in Spanish) are a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and perform minor troubleshooting.
- Ability to write clear reports and maintain accurate records related to driving activities.
- Commercial driving experience preferred; valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for route management and passenger assistance.
