**Broken Coast Cannabis LTD**. is looking for a full-time DDC Technician to work in the Production department of our busy cannabis production facility.
**Job Summary**:
DDC Technician is responsible for all maintenance tasks involving Chillers, Heat Recovery Unit, Circulation Pumps, Room sensors, Lighting tests, AHU’s and other facility equipment.
- Operating and maintaining Delta Controls/Entelliweb Software
- Initial diagnosis of environmental controls and room conditions
- Accurately assessing and troubleshooting problems in the various automation systems throughout the facility
- Replacing, repairing, calibrating and/or performing preventative maintenance to instrumentation (temperature/pressure transmitters, level switches, control valves, actuators, solenoids, etc.) as per manufacturers specifications
- Ability to take calls from the various departments in the facility and take appropriate DDC action to assist in remedying system faults
- Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments
- Repair and adjust system components, such as sensors, transmitters, final control elements, distributed computer control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers, or remove and replace defective parts
- Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes
- Understanding what to do in emergency scenarios and who to contact
- Accurately documenting all tasks and work
- Be able to work well with peers in all departments
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- Must have completed post-secondary CEGEP/vocational or technical training (Journeyman Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, HVAC Technician or Electrician)
- Knowledge and experience with DDC, DCS, BAS, or BMS process control software would be an asset
- Proven ability to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail
- Must be organized and able to document all work
- Must be available for rotational on-call
- Must have the ability to pass a background check
- Ability to solve problems and build solutions
- In good physical condition with good endurance
- Ability to work in tight places
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Capable of multi-tasking with mínimal supervision
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Safe and reliable transportation
- Great work ethic
- Experience in a highly regulated environment (food industry, pharmaceuticals) would be considered an asset
