**Position Summary**:
The Floor Attendant ensures the cleanliness, safety, and efficient flow of the food service area while providing support to students, volunteers, and guests. This role requires attentiveness to safety protocols, effective communication with staff and leadership, and a willingness to offer ministry as needed. The Floor Attendant collaborates with a diverse team to maintain a welcoming environment and may assist with additional tasks as required. Evening and weekend shifts may be necessary for special events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the food service area remains clean, organized, and operates smoothly, working alongside students and volunteers.
- Monitor the food service area to uphold safety standards for students, volunteers, and guests, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Provide ministry to clients as needed, fostering a welcoming and compassionate environment.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with other staff members as necessary.
- Liaise with the Minister to Community to support collaborative efforts and ensure alignment with ministry goals.
- Assist other staff members with various tasks as needed to support overall operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrates compassion and care for others.
- Possesses a servant-hearted approach with a passion for helping others.
- Excels in making sound decisions under pressure.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations and needs.
- Holds a Food Handler’s Certificate or is in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to support and contribute to achieving budgetary goals.
- Strong skills in communication and planning.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Standard First Aid and CPR (Level A or Level C) certification is considered an asset.
