Toronto, Canada WASTECORP PUMPS INC. Full time

Wastecorp Pumps is a growing custom pump and pump systems manufacturer seeking a full time manufacturing team member who is mechanically inclined and likes to work on custom industrial machinery:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- pull parts from inventory as needed for production
- knowledge of gaskets, hardware, bearings, pipe fittings an asset
- prepare parts kit for inventory stock
- prepare and set-up jigs and stands including ensuring levelling and alignment prior to commencing assembly
- use schematics/exploded view drawings and blue prints to assemble parts and sub-assemblies for mechanical pump systems
- review finished sub-assemblies, parts and products to ensure accuracy against schematics and BOMs
- assemble pumps to electric motors, gas and diesel engines, air and hydraulic motors
- make any necessary adjustments to the equipment after testing to meet standards
- report production issues, non-conformance and assist in resolutions and preventative actions as required
- propose potential quality or productivity enhancements, i.e., continual improvements
- participate in production meetings as required

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Knowledge of pumping/rotating equipment would be an asset
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Self-motivated team player with ability to work in multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, reliable, strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Must be able to manually lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
