**Newark Brewing is looking for a passionate, beer-loving server to join our team**

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing top quality service to guests throughout entire service experience.
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner.
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions for patrons.
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Handling cash and card transactions
- Navigating POS system efficiently
- Working as a team to ensure service runs smoothly for all sections of the taproom and retail space
- Handling retail transactions
- Helping monitor inventory as needed
- Handling food and alcohol
- Stocking retail fridge
- Pouring beer and wine
- Working on feet for 6+ hours
- Bussing tables
- Seating guests
- Fulfilling cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, wiping tables/chairs, and more
- Organize time efficiently to ensure cleaning duties are being completed throughout shift as well as after

Beer knowledge not required but considered an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
