Veterinary Technician

Oceanside Animal Hospital is a small but busy companion animal practice, located in the sunny oceanfront community of Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island, also known as Canada's Mediterranean We have decided it is time to add another veterinary technician to our amazing support team. A position at Oceanside allows you to take full advantage of everything our area has to offer with no working on weekends or evenings and no on-call work. We are minutes from the beach, hiking, cycling, golfing and venture a little further for skiing and surfing

More about you:

- team player
- completion of veterinary technician program or equivalent experience
- high level of skill - veterinary nursing, lab work, communication, patient handling, dental procedures, anesthesia monitoring
- excellent communication skills, both with colleagues and clients
- familiar with Fear Free philosophy, willing to complete additional training

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
