Precision Fiberglass Piping Inc. is currently seeking a Junior Piping Designer at Sylvan Lake shop location.

Full Job Description:
Use established procedures to provide basic design, drafting, and technical support. The position is responsible for preparation of drawings, with the assistance of senior personnel as to methods, standards and source data. Junior Piping Designers possess a working level of competence in computer design and drafting in AutoCad Plant 3D

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Carrie out original layout and design of process equipment modules for oil and gas processing facilities
- Create and model piping designs
- Create detailed design of structural steel skids and pipe supports
- Revise existing designs based on vendor drawings and changes from stress analysis updates
- Create layout drawings and detailing of piping
- Produce 3D Models
- Produce Piping Isometrics
- Produce structural drawings
- Produce fabrication drawings
- Organize design data and vendor information
- Calculate piping components and pre-orders materials
- Obtain and manage design specifics for Engineering and other disciplines
- Collaborate with Piping checkers, Mechanical Engineering and Fabrication Shop
