The **Nigel Program **is a licensed residential program for adults with complex disabilities. The interdisciplinary team at the Nigel Program provides nursing care, personal care, occupational and physical therapy, social work, dietary services, housekeeping services, and recreational therapy to facilitate active living programs.

**DUTIES**:
To carry out duties related to the day-to-day care of independent group home residents. Duties include carrying out basic charting and maintaining other record keeping systems; meal preparation, queuing residents in activities of daily living; participating in activities and programs to enhance the social, recreational, mental and physical functioning of residents; performing other related duties

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Health Care Aide or Community Support Worker certificate from a reputable College or Agency
- Must be eligible to work with vulnerable children & adults under the BC Criminal Records Review Program
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Negative TB Screen

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $29.83 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Care Aide Registry (required)
- Food Safe Certificate (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
