- Program runs 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Monday to Friday
- Shift:

- July-August: 8:00am-5:00pm with a 1 hour break
- September-June: 11:30am - 5:30pm with a 30 minute break
- Location: #28 2770 32 Ave NE, Calgary, AB, T1Y 5S5

**Overview of Position**:
This one on one support aide position requires a qualified Early Childhood Educator with experience in working with children in an inclusive setting. The aide will provide a program and supports for a child’s success in the classroom.
This position is considered an independent contractor and will be under the terms of an FSCD (Family Supports for Children with Disabilities) contract.
**Qualifications, Skills and Professional Attributes**:

- Alberta Child Care Certification level 1 minimum
- Valid First Aid Certificate and Security Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
- Experience and knowledge in working with children with special needs
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision making skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with families, co-workers and management
- Demonstrated team work abilities and flexibility
- Excellent organization skills and time management
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Willing to learn, open to feedback

**Start date**:
July 2, 2025
**End date**:
As determined in the FSCD contract. The current contract is active until December 31, 2026 with the possibility of extension.
**Hourly Rate**:
$18.90/hour
Please note that this is an independent contractor position.
