Pharmacy Assistant

Assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department
- Patient greeting and data entry of patient information
- Third party adjudication
- Maintenance of pharmacy inventories, through the ordering, receiving, and rotating of stock and supplies
- Blister packaging
- Compounding of prescriptions
- Handling customer prescription pick up
- Assist in the preparation of prescriptions
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**

Technical Skills:

- Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Education and Experience:

- Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset
- Experience with Kroll is an asset
- Flexible schedule days, evenings, weekends and holidays

**Experience**:

- pharmacy assistant: 1 year (preferred)
