RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform acupuncture treatments on patients using sterile needles
- Conduct patient consultations to assess their health conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Administer other complementary therapies such as cupping, moxibustion, or electroacupuncture as needed
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on lifestyle modifications to support their overall well-being
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE:
- Valid license as an acupuncturist in Ontario, Canada
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in pediatric acupuncture is a plus
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients
- Proficient in aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during treatments
- Knowledge of acute pain management techniques and trigger point therapy
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient responses
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in acupuncture

**Salary**: $64,577.12-$77,770.29 per year
